Assistant Manager, Operational Risk Management #ANZ

Our client, a Regional Bank, is looking for this position, where you will be responsible for the planning and coordination of operations across the branch businesses, playing a key role for the branch’s Operational Risk Control. Acting as the coordinator of the Internal Inspection Team, you will also be responsible for operational irregularities management, new product management, risk control self-assessment, review of EUC (End User Computing) as well as user ID management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that respective departments undertake the necessary action in response to HQ’s change in regulations and instructions.
• Coordinate and facilitate the implementation of any new products, new transactions or new technologies by evaluating impact on any Operational Risk of Branch including Legal, Compliance, AML and tax risk.
• Interface between users and IT Department in EUC development, update and amendment
• Facilitate and support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) exercise and stress test
• Coordinate and conduct the branch-wide Operational Risk Control Self-Assessment
• Perform any other duties as assigned by HOD
