Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to grow the business in the region and exceed sales and profitability targets.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding on the nature and size of the market, including an understanding of customer value perceptions.
Support and partner with distributors to grow the business in their regions, including the development of local resources, as well as marketing and pricing strategies.
Responsible for Strategic Planning and develop segmentation and solution product mapping for different market
Collaborate with the key account managers as well as other stakeholders such as Regulatory bodies, End User, Consultant, Contractor, System Integrators, Suppliers and Channel Partners to address different evolving needs and new challenges especially as the industry continues with the disruptive transformation
Prepare costing, tenders, proposals and quotations to customers. Assist with technical sections for vendor assessments for clients. Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers.
Negotiate with suppliers to bring the best cost-benefits and delivery to customer. Negotiate with clients on contracts and sales orders.
Degree/ Diploma in any field with minimum 5 years of sales and business development experience in lighting industry
Experience in handling tenders for HDB/LTA/JTC/Town Councils etc
Good to have functional and technical knowledge in any of the lighting sectors: - architectural - industrial - retail - school - residential - outdoor/indoor applications
Good communication and interpersonal skills
