Project Manager #AJW

Job purpose:

Responsible for planning and implementation of project from concept phase to market introduction, throughout the complete product lifecycle. This role is responsible and accountable for project planning and monitoring of schedule, cost, quality and product performance. This role is required to facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables, ensuring projects are implemented successfully within budget and schedule. This role is required to constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development of products from existing platform to end of product lifecycle.
• Responsible for development of product variants, maintenance of product and engineering change management.
• Planning and leading project implementation with teams from development, series production and quality departments.
• Project planning and monitoring of schedule, cost, quality and product performance.
• Leading multi-disciplinary teams within the organization and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication with global project teams and stakeholders within organization worldwide.
• Communication with external development partners and agencies worldwide.
• Presentation to stakeholders during milestone meetings and status reporting of project progress including problems and solutions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience in the area of project management and product development, preferably in consumer electronics industry.
• Proven track record and hands-on experience in managing projects from product development to production.
• Possess in-depth project management skills including techniques and tools plus knowledge of product development processes.
• Have a strong sense of responsibility and accountability, high sense of urgency and ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
• Possess excellent analytical, problem solving and risk assessments skills.
• Proven experience in people management and a good team player.
• Creative, self-motivated and resourceful.
• Must have good communication skills both oral and spoken, able to communicate effectively and presents project status to stakeholders from multi countries.
• Able to travel overseas occasionally.
